West Timor

Project Overview

The Australian Specialist Surgical Association of Australia (OSSAA) based in Adelaide brought the needs of the West Timorese people to our attention in 2004 through Sister Yasinta, a Catholic nun. With a maternal mortality rate of 230:100,000 live births there is a need for a clean birthing kit.

The BKFA works with Mides Health Centre.
