Tanzania

Project Overview

The programme in Tanzania to date has been very small even though it has one of the highest maternal mortality rates of 1500:100,000 live births.
Customs fees make it very expensive when collecting the kits. It would be ideal to have the kits locally made.

BKFA has worked with the following two organisations in Tanzania since 2006.

1. Joshua Foundation - Arusha 200 kits sent
2. M S I Tanzania 1000 kits.
