This year, the Birthing Kit Foundation (Australia) will reach an amazing milestone: assembly and distribution of its 1,000,000th birthing kit. These simple kits have provided one million mothers and babies in developing countries with a much better chance of having a healthy birth.
To commemorate this achievement, and to thank everyone who has helped make the project an inspiring success, Zonta International clubs in support of the Foundation are holding celebratory events throughout Australia.
We plan to have millionth kit events in every major Australian city. Keep an eye on this space to see the events as they come online.
