Volunteers are essential to the success of our Birthing Kit Project.

The BKFA board are all volunteers.

All kits are made at Assembly Days by volunteers.

Over 100 Zonta International clubs in Australia have held Assembly Days. Zonta International is an organisation of business and professional women who volunteer their services to improving the lives of women through service and advocacy.

Public Appearance Coordination Support and Public Appearance Volunteers

One of the best ways of promoting the Birthing Kit Foundation (Australia) and the work we do is to have displays in public locations such as shopping centres, markets and public events. Ideally we would like to have someone in the capital city and major regional centres of each state to coordinate such public appearances. This would involve researching possible sites, booking the space, arranging volunteers to man the stand and providing them with the promotional materials to set up the display. In addition, we would like to have a group of volunteers in each state who are prepared to set up a display, talk to people about the Foundation's work, pack up the display and report back on the success of the appearance.
